Music Concerts Coming to UW-Stevens Point Campuses in May

The University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point is gearing up to host a series of music concerts across all three of its campuses in Stevens Point, Marshfield, and Wausau this coming May.

According to the university's announcement, the UW-Stevens Point concerts will kick off at 7:30 p.m. at the Noel Fine Arts Center Michelsen Hall on 1800 Portage Street, Stevens Point. Tickets for the general public are priced at $17, $15 for seniors, $10 for youth, and UWSP employees, while UW-Stevens Point students can attend for free. Tickets can be purchased online, at the Information and Tickets desk, or by phone.

Meanwhile, UWSP at Marshfield will also host concerts starting at 7:30 p.m. at the Helen Connor Laird Theatre on 2000 W. Fifth Street, Marshfield. Tickets are priced at $10 per person and can be bought online.

Concerts at UWSP at Wausau are slated to begin at 7 p.m. at the James F. Veninga Theater on 625 Stewart Ave, Wausau, with tickets also priced at $10 and available for online purchase.

The lineup of concerts includes a variety of performances such as the Symphonic Wind Ensemble Concert, Campus Band, Campus Choir, and Campus Orchestra Concert, Piano Area Recital, Jazz Combos Concert, Vocal Jazz Concert, Jazz Ensemble Concert, Combined Choirs Concert, Central Wisconsin Musicians Band Concert, Hub City Winds Concert, Combined Choirs Concert at St. Stephen’s Church, and a Guest Artist Recital featuring the PoCo duo.
